Gibbs Elementary is home of the Penguins. Gibbs opened its doors in the fall of 2009 and now serves approximately 750 Kindergarten through 5th grade students in Northwest Rochester. Gibbs uses the Total School Cluster Grouping model, a specific, research-based, total-school application of cluster grouping combined with differentiation, focused on meeting the needs of students while also improving teaching, learning, and achievement of all students.
