MEET OUR PRINCIPALS
Principal Mark Randall

I have been in education for 27 years, 20 as a principal. I have an elementary education teaching degree, a specialist degree for my principal licensure, and a superintendent's license.
Gibbs is more than a school. We are a family that builds strong relationships with students and our families. We are committed to creating well-rounded students to help prepare them for the next steps of their educational journey.
Our goal for Gibbs Elementary School is to get all students at grade level in reading and to enhance and build social and emotional skills that students will carry forward in both school and outside of school.
A fun fact about me is that I love sports, particularly college basketball. And I once sang at Carnegie Hall!

Meet Our Assistant Principal
I became an educator to collaborate and consult with children, families, and teachers as a team to meet the needs of the students both academically and socially and emotionally. For me, it is about building positive relationships that are built on a foundation of trust and respect where we strive toward the same goal for supporting students.
In my current role, I serve as the assistant principal at George W. Gibbs Elementary School. My qualifications include licensures in Superintendent, K-12 Principal, K-6 Elementary Education, and K-12 Special Education for specific learning disabilities and emotional behavioral disorders. I have received the opportunity to serve in many different teacher and leader roles from preschool to twelfth grade throughout my years in education.
One of the many benefits to being an educator is that it is a continuous learning path where you grow with the students to help them achieve the maximum results. Together you are on a learning journey with the support of families and community.
